Thirumala, Thiruchanoor & Srikalahasti temples visit - July'16

Thirumala - Venkateshwara temple (Temple 129; Dhivyadesam 9)

I have been to Thirumala Tirupati Venkateswara temple 4 times so far. Once with parents at my childhood, with dad's colleagues & families at 2012, with Praveen at 2015 (Climbed 3550 steps that time) & this time with parents, Sankar Chittappa, Mangalam Chitti & Yamini.

16th July'16:
On this day early morning, we have started to Thirupathi via train. Booked 3.30pm special dharshan tickets already. 


Thirumala - Venkateswara temple 
Thirumala Venkateswara temple is listed as one of the 108 Dhivyadesam and the temple lies on the seventh peak - venkatadri on the banks of Sri Pushkarni Lake. We stood in queue for about 1 hr and got to see awesome dharshan of Lord Venkatachalapathy.


At Thirumala - Venkatachalapathy temple 
It is the richest temple in the world. The view of the temple was awesome during night time when lights were switched on. We had Annadhanam at the temple, got Laddus & great blessings, it was the most blissful moments. Then we got to visit Sri Varahaswamy temple at Thirumala.

Thirumala - Sri Varahaswamy temple (Temple 130)

Thirumala - Sri Varahaswamy temple 
 Sri Varahaswamy temple is located on the banks of Pushkarni river facing Sri Venkateswara temple at Thirumala. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Vishnu in his Varaha incarnation.

There is a belief that people do offer their prayers here for buying an own house. An year back, with the blessings of Sri Varahaswamy, dad bought a new house. Offered our sincere thanks for the same. 

Thiruchanoor - Sri Padmavathy Ammavari temple (Temple 131)

On the day morning, we got to visit Sri Padmavathy Ammavari temple which was located at 5 km from Tirupati. The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Padmavathi believed to have come on a Golden color Lotus flower. Offered our prayers to Thaayar.

17th Feb'12:

During our Holy Trip to Tirupati with dad's colleagues & families, got to visit Srikalahasti, Kalatheeswarar temple.

Srikalahasti - Kalahastheeswarar temple (Temple 132; Paadal Petra Stalam 22, Pancha Bhootha Stalam 2)

Srikalahasti - Kalatheeswarar temple 
Sri Kalahastheeswara temple is one of the most famous Shiva temple in South India. It is also one of the Pancha Bhootha stalam represents wind. 

The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva (Vayu Lingam) in the name of Kalahasteeswara along with his consort Gnana Parasunambika Devi. Had great dharshan & blessings at the temple.

Wonderful days at the temples of Thirumala, Thiruchanoor & Srikalahasti.
