On this fine Saturday early morning, myself along with my parents started to Melmaruvathur via City Bus & visited Melmaruvathur Adhi parasakthi temple

Melmaruvathur Adhi parasakthi sidhar peetam is the place where 21 sidhars (Both male & female) attained their Jeeva samadhi. It is also the place of marvel, and welcomes people of all religions under the proclamation "One mother one race".
We have offered our humble prayers to Goddess Aadhi Parasakthi, had lunch prasadh at the temple & then visited Madhuranthagam - Yeri Kaatha Ramar temple.

Madhuranthagam - Yeri Kaatha Ramar temple is one of the famous temple at Thirunindravur. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Rama in the name of Yeri Kaatha Ramar. He's in standing position of about 8 feet height. Lord Rama is seen along with his consort Goddess Sita & Lakshmana. Lord Hanuman cannot be seen in this temple which is so rare.
Lord Rama here saved the people of Thirunindravur from floods by protecting the bunds of the lake from breaching. Hence named as Yeri Kaatha Ramar. We had great dharshan & blessings at the temple & then visited Selaiyur - Skandashramam.
Selaiyur - Skandashramam (Temple 167)

Selaiyur - Skandashramam is one of the majestic Ashram at Tambaram. I have been to this temple 3,4 times. The temple is dedicated to Several Gods & Goddess. The deities available in the temple are Lord Kamala Siddhi Vinayakar, Lord Dhaddathreya, Lord Panchamuga Hanuman, Lord Saneeswarar, Lord Ayyappan, Lord Sarabeswara, Goddess Prathyankira, Lord Lakshmi Narasimmar, Lord Nandhigeswarar everything in magnificent stature. Offered our humble pranams to all the deities.
