At Birla Mandir - Kolkata
Birla Mandir in Kolkata is built by the Industrialist Birla Family. The temple infrastructure was so beautiful, it took nearly 26 years to build the temple.

The presiding deity of the temple is Radhe Krishna &  the other deities of the temple are Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva etc., Security people at the temple keep demanding money from all the visitors, should be careful with such people. Glimpsed the wonderful dharshan of the deities & then visited Kalighat Kali temple.

Kolkata - Kalighat Kali temple  (Temple 211; Shakthi Peetha 1)
Address: Kali temple, Anami Sangha, Kalighat, Kolkata, West Bengal - 700026

Kalighat Kali temple is one of the 51 Shakthi Peetas, where the various parts of Sati's body are said to have fallen, in the course of Shiva's Rudra Tandava. Kalighat represents the site where the toes of the right foot of Dakshayani or Sati fell.

The temple was so crowded and the crowd were not organized properly. Everyone rushed in. We got to see the great dharshan of Kali and offered our pranams there.

Had Blissful day at the temples of Kolkata !
